Tuesday, February 11th, JBJ Soul Kitchen opens a new pop-up location in Toms River, NJ, at 101 Washington St. inside the Ocean County Library. This temporary café will serve nutritious meals while continuing its mission of addressing food insecurity. The menu includes sandwiches, wraps, bowls, and salads for a suggested donation, with an à la carte option for those looking for a lighter meal. Guests can also participate in the Pay It Forward program to help provide meals for those in need.
Located near essential services like the Toms River Bus Terminal and local resources, the pop-up aims to reach more community members who may not visit the main Hooper Avenue location. “Our goal is to provide a space where All Are Welcome to enjoy a nutritious meal and be part of a community where all are valued,” said Rob Wood, Assistant General Manager. Whether dining, volunteering, or paying it forward, every visit helps support JBJ Soul Kitchen’s mission to fight food insecurity and foster a sense of belonging for all.Location: Inside Ocean County Library 101 Washington St, Toms River, NJ 08753 Hours of Operation: Tuesday – Friday: 10:00AM – 2:00PM Saturday – Monday: ClosedTo read the press release from the grand opening visit: here
