NEW YORK CITY, April 3, 2007 – Delta Air Lines is joining rock icon and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi, Habitat for Humanity and members of the Arena Football League (AFL) team, The Philadelphia Soul, to announce its commitment to two Habitat projects in Brooklyn, N.Y., further demonstrating the airline’s dedication to New York.
Continuing their fundraising intiative to help the homeless begun in late 2006 through the creation of a limited edition line of outerwear, the “Give A Shirt” t-shirt and R.S.V.P. cologne for men, Philadelphia Soul Co-Owner JON BON JOVI and fashion designer KENNETH COLE hosted R.S.V.P TO HELP -CONSTRUCTING HOMES & BUILDING LIVES,a special evening at New York City’s TriBeCa Rooftop on January 25, 2007.
ATLANTA, Dec. 4, 2006 – Delta is partnering with rock icon and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi and Habitat for Humanity International to unveil a new philanthropic commitment and specially-designed Delta aircraft livery that will carry its message worldwide. The campaign, “Delta’s Force for Global Good,” will focus on uniting the airline’s employees and customers in support of global philanthropic efforts.
The Fall of 2006 saw the launch of the R.S.V.P. TO HELP initiative. Philadelphia Soul co-owner Jon Bon Jovi teamed up with fashion designer KENNETH COLE.
