TOMS RIVER, NJ – On Saturday, October 12, 2024, JBJ Soul Kitchen Toms River will host the 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off, a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated service of first responders across New Jersey. Presented by Vydia, this fundraising event aims to bring the community together to celebrate our heroes while also supporting JBJ Soul Kitchen’s mission of addressing food insecurity.
We’re excited to announce that this year’s 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off is officially sold out! While tickets to the event are no longer available, you can still participate by purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets and our exclusive limited-edition Chili Cook-Off T-shirt. New Jersey first responders from fire departments, EMS, police, and First Aid Squads will showcase their chili recipes, allowing attendees to sample the delicious entries and cast their votes for their favorites. The event will feature a variety of JBJ Soul Kitchen appetizers, including various smoked meats seasoned with our signature JBJ Soul Seasoning.
